Upper Crust Bakery
This website uses a heavily customized Wordpress instance as a rich text editor. This is a business website and the blog like elements of Wordpress have been downplayed in favor of a more generalized Content Management System. The exception is the blog page within the website, which is in a more typical Wordpress style.
Blue Jeans Cable
This was an e-commerce website case study for school. The project began with a user profile and a website objectives study. Next a content inventory spreadsheet was created and the functional specs were determined. Then Site maps were created for both the site and the user checkout procedure. Wireframes were then created for main, category, sub-category pages and forms interfaces. Finally visual designs and a fully functioning proto website were created.
Families Against Breed Bans
This was a website redesign for a citizen action group fighting dog breed ban legislation. The original website was rather scattered and random. We were asked to create a more cohesive whole. This project implemented Wordpress in a heavily customized form as a content management system. I was the project manager and one of two designers. I also designed the logo. Skills required: XHTML, CSS, php, MySQL and Adobe Illustrator.
Baren Haus Restaurant
This was a website redesign for a restaurant in Leavenworth Washington. The original website was very spartan, utilitarian and uninspired. I tried to keep a simple, uncluttered quality while giving it a more distinctive design. Skills required: XHTML, CSS, php, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
